Schoolhouse Rock may have taught us the "Three is a Magic Number," but according to my daughter, sixteen is the perfect number. And on the 16th of this month, she will be sixteen. Snowflake was the most beautiful dog. She was white and soft with long hair and a precious face. She could curl into my 8 year old lap perfectly, and her tongue was tickly and warm. I loved her, as did the rest of my family. Adopted at six weeks old, she followed me around the house, nuzzled my feet until I picked her up, and the only reason she did not sleep in my bed was because my mother absolutely put her foot down about that.
